We all know the old ‘carrots are good for your eyes’ story so it’s fitting that this eye cream is from the yes to carrots range and while I wouldn’t recommend rubbing this on to your eyeballs, I would REALLY recommend it for the around-the-eye area. Gather round children and let me tell you why.
First things first, the price tag is quite reasonable. Most good eye creams on the market have the kind of price tag that really widens the eyes in disbelief but this is £9.99. Another massive plus is that this cream is cruelty free which is always something we should be looking for. So, on to the actual formula….
This cream contains sweet almond oil which is appropriate as this provides moisture and this eye cream is ‘moisturising eye cream’. The aloe vera leaf juice helps to calm and soothe the eyes and both of these ingredients make for a pretty desirable eye cream as these are the things we usually look for in a good cream.
As you can probably tell in this photo, the cream isn’t the thickest or richest cream in the world but I personally prefer a lighter cream anyway as it melts in to the skin much more easily and doesn’t feel as heavy or sticky. I love that it comes in a tube so there’s no mess like some other eye creams that come in tubs and just cause more hassle than they’re worth.
If you like a rich, thick eye cream then this probably isn’t for you but if you’re looking for an eye cream that moisturises really well and is light then go for this one. Hope this was helpful! Let me know if you’ve tried it and what you think of it. Jess x
